Retired sales clerk Mrs. Zelene Lawton White, 89, of Edgefield, wife of the late Luther R. White, died Thursday January 3, 2013 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Sunday January 6, 2013 at 2 P.M. at Rehoboth Baptist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. White was born in Willington, S.C. and was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church. She was a retired sales clerk at Martha Parks Dress Shop in Greenwood. She was a member of the W.M. U. and served as President for 20 years. Survivors include 1 daughter- Sherry Holmes, Edgefield; 1 Grandson- Eric Burton, Edgefield; 2 Sisters- Sara Gunnells, Greenwood, Nellie Jean Brown, Greenville.
