William Raymond Willis, 82, husband of Helen Gayle Alverson Willis of McCormick, SC entered into rest on July 18, 2025.

William Raymond was born and raised in Edgefield SC and was the son of the late Thomas Jennings Willis and Bennie Lee Doolittle Willis. He was a retired auto mechanic and lived in McCormick County for most of his life. He was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church where he was a former Deacon.

He is survived by his wife; 3 children, Wanda Clark (Tim), William D. "Bo" Willis (Wendy) and Thomas "Neal" Willis (Joye); 5 grandchildren, Richard Lewis IV(Jennifer), Matthew Lewis (Courtney), Langley Willis (Nicole), Addy Willis Sanders (Jamie) and Bradley Willis; 3 great-grandchildren, Destiny Hutto, Dawson Lewis and Emma Lewis; and 2 great-great grandchildren, Wyatt Hutto and Willow Hutto. He was predeceased by a son Fred Walsh Willis.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
