William Benjamin Mims, 65, of Edgefield SC entered into rest on February 6, 2023.

William was born in Augusta, Ga as the son of Carrie Mae Booth Mims and Thomas L. Mims Sr. He retired as a cattle farmer and was of the Baptist faith.

William is survived by his daughter Skyler Chance, five sisters Lois Mims, Cathy (Wayne) Hutchinson, Julie Mims, Lisa (Monroe) Turner, Niki (Jason) Cockrell, two brothers David (Sandy) Mims, Mark (Jean) Mims and numerous nieces and nephews. Willie is predeceased by siblings Earnest, Tom and Beth Mims.

The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00PM, Wednesday, February 8th, 2023, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home 801 Columbia Road Edgefield, SC. A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM, Thursday, February 9th, 2023, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery 1843 Highway 23 W. Edgefield, SC
