William "Bill" H. DeSiders, 85, husband of Mary Ann Quarles DeSiders entered into rest on August 14, 2022. Bill was born in Brackenridge, Pennsylvania as the son of the late Yolanda Vena DeSiders and Oliver DeSiders. He was a retired United Sates Air Force Veteran and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal commendations for having served in Vietnam and surrounding areas. It was an honor for him to have served his country for 20 years in the Air Force as a flight engineer for a C-130 and a jet engine mechanic. Bill was also a supervisor at consolidated yarn. Bill is survived by his wife, five daughters Lorie Stallings, Angela (Charles) Wilkins, Terry (Bobby) George, Colleen (Rick) Kalliainen, JoAnn (Allen) Lingle, 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101. Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
