Wayne Thomas Lamberth May 5, 1961 – December 31, 2025
Wayne Thomas Lamberth, 64, of North Augusta, SC passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with ALS. A life well-lived born in Augusta, GA to Joseph Klenzo Lamberth and Ruby Price Lamberth. He was known for his love for his wife and children, and his faith in God. He was a man of many passions especially watching his UGA football and Braves baseball. His greatest pride was his family. He was the devoted husband to Lora (Swiger) Lamberth with whom he shared 22 years of marriage built on faith, love, laughter and commitment. He was a proud and loving father to his twin daughters, Ruby and Rose, and stepson JT. Even as he faced the challenges of ALS he never lost his unwavering faith, sense of humor and dedication to his family and friends. He remained an inspiration to those around him, teaching everyone who knew him the true meaning of resilience and the importance of cherishing every moment.
He is survived by his wife Lora, daughters Ruby and Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings, and son Wayne Russell Lamberth. A celebration of life will be held at a later time. In Lieu of flowers , the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Association, Agape Hospice, or Messianic Beth Shalom in his honor.
The family wish to thank Agape Hospice – especially Hillery, Dee, Shawn and Susana for their compassionate care that allowed him to remain in the comfort of his own home. Members of Warren Belvedere that came and visited him. Congregation Beth Shalom especially Rabbi Robert and his beautiful wife Yvette.
As we grieve the loss of this great man we also celebrate his life and faith. We find comfort in the assurance that Wayne is now in the presence of the Savior. He lived his life as a testament to his faith. We ask for your prayers and to join us in honoring his memory by performing an act of kindness or service, sharing the light of faith that he carried so well. It was his greatest wish that all would know the peace that surpasses all understanding that can only come from a personal relationship with Jesus.
