Retired Augusta Police Officer Mr. Wade Hampton Morgan, 79, of Key Rd., husband of Joan Wood Morgan, died Monday July 4, 2011 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held Thursday July 7, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. He was a native of Richmond County and was retired from the Augusta Police Dept. with 33 years service. He was an Army Veteran and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; 3 daughters- Susan (Timothy) Mosley, Cyndi (Michael) Noikov, Becky (Troy) Quarles; 6 Grandchildren- Devon, Katie, Megan, Morgan, Preston, and Lindsey; 2 Great- Grandchildren- Rheuy and Holly; and 2 Nieces.
