Virginia McGee Blackston, 85 wife of the late Charlie G. Blackston, Jr. of Johnston, SC entered into rest on November 30, 2025.

Virginia was born in Edgefield, SC as the daughter of the late Alice and John McGee. She was a server and cook at the P.K. restaurant and was of the Baptist faith.

Virginia is survived by her three children Kay Clark Corley, Allen Clark (Sherry), Sara Clark Green (Mark), two step children Renae Kaigler, Rhonda Herron, one sister Louise Fulmer, thirteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her two sisters and a brother.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Johnston, SC. The family will receive friends following the service. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Judes Place Memphis, TN 38105.
