Victor Charles Hitt, 56, husband of the late Janet Gregory Hitt of Aiken, SC entered into rest on November 1, 2023.

Victor was born in Augusta, Georgia as the son of Irene Darby Hitt and Horace Hitt. Victor was a retired Law Enforcement Officer with New Ellenton Police Department.

Victor is survived by his son Zachary L. Hitt, three brothers Garry, Nick and Norman Hitt, one sister Heather Backer and two grandchildren Bricyn and Aybel Hitt.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. The family has arranged for services to be held at a later date.
