V. Dennis McDaniel, 62, of U.S. Hwy 378 West, husband of Rhonda Hill McDaniel, died Sunday August 6, 2017. Services will be held Thursday August 10, 2017 at 11 AM at Plum Branch Baptist Church. Mr. McDaniel was born in Greenwood, S.C. and was the son of the late Vernon and Millie Wall McDaniel. He was a Construction Inspector for G.B. Turnipseed Engineers and was a member of Plum Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter, Denise (Al) Hodges; 1 son, Dwayne (Shelly) McDaniel; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Stone, Tanner Stone, and Makenzie McDaniel. He was predeceased by his beloved pet Tipsy. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 9, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
