IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Teena Lynn
Wackerman
April 1, 1963 – November 22, 2025
Teena Lyn Wackerman, 62 of Edgefield, SC formerly of Kansas City, MO passed away Saturday, November 22, at home after an 8 ½ year battle with Stage IV Colon Cancer.
Teena was born on April 1, 1963, in Kansas City, MO to Floyd and Sheila Hall. She attended school in the Raytown (MO) School District and graduated from Raytown South High School in 1981. She went on to attain her Associate's Degree in Secretarial Science from Central Missouri State University. Teena worked for many different companies and law firms in her career, but her two most recent jobs and the people she worked for held a special place in her heart: Foland, Wickens, Eisfelder, Roper & Hoeffer where her boss was the late Bart Eisfelder, and Heritage Preservation Trust where her bosses were George Thornton and Doug Sanders.
In 1991, through mutual friends, Teena met Kevin Wackerman, and they were married on June 15 of that year. On September 30, 1993, Kevin and Teena were blessed with their only child, a son named Conner. He was definitely the apple of his mother's eye, and she never failed to miss a single event that he participated in.
The only love stronger than the one Teena had for Kevin and Conner was the one she had for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Teena was saved at a young age and baptized while attending Blue Springs Christian Church where she and Kevin became members. She also held membership at Revive Church and Faith Community Church. She most recently attended Philippi Baptist Church in Johnston, SC where she made many close friends.
In her spare time, when she had any, Teena would crochet beautiful creations including Afghans, baby blankets, and pot holders. She was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and absolutely loved the Carolina Coast. Her favorite destination was Edisto Beach, where she was able to visit just three weeks before her passing.
Teena is survived by her husband Kevin of the home, one son Conner of Edgefield, SC. She also leaves to mourn her passing two brothers Tim (Terrie) of Belton, MO, and Troy (Michele) of Blue Springs, MO, one sister Teresa (Carl) Bates of Iowa Park, TX, and one-half sister Sue (Mitchell) Tierney of Fayetteville, NC, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Sheila Hall and her mother and father-in-law Lyle and Ellen Wackerman.
A visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia rd. Edgefield, SC 29824.Teena has chosen to be cremated. There are plans for a private burial service at a later date.
