Mrs. Sara Bryan Greene, 82, of Edgefield, wife of the late Rev. Marion Greene, went home to be with her Lord, at her residence, on March 4, 2015 with her family by her side. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 6, 2015 at 3 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with a private burial at a later time. Mrs. Bryan was the daughter of the late Cecil B. "Jake" Bryan, Sr. and the late Mattie Ruth Ransom. She was a native of Edgefield, S.C. and was a retired Secretary at S.R.S. Survivors include a brother- Alvin B. (Peggy) Bryan; sister- Ginny B. Gilchrist; sister-in-law- Margaret Bryan; 4 nephews, 2 nieces, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers- William Pickens Bryan, Cecil B. Bryan, Robert P. Bryan, and a sister- Catherine R. Bryan.
