Samuel L. "Buddy" Franklin, 80, of Johnston, SC entered into rest on February 15, 2023.

Buddy was born in Edgefield County, SC as the son of the late Rebecca Blease Franklin and A.P. Franklin. Buddy was a retired farmer and a member of Providence Baptist Church.

Survivors include extended family, friends, and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held at Providence Baptist Church in Johnston at 11:00am, Saturday, February 18th, 2023. Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church 1701 SC Hwy 191 Johnston, SC 29832.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mercantile Funeral Home Johnston Chapel.
