Mr. Rudolph McCary, 75, of North Augusta, husband of Shirley Flanders McCary, died Tuesday August 27, 2013 at National Healthcare. Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 31, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Hone with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Edgefield. Mr. McCary was the son of Theo Proctor McCary and the late Odell McCary and was a native of Edgefield, S.C. He was a member of the Edgefield Church of God and was a retired Textile Worker. Mr. McCary served in the National Guard. Survivors include his wife, his mother, 4 Daughters- Teresa (Neal) Ginn, Belinda Wallace, Valerie (Mick) Young, Mary (Freddie) Williams; 1 Son- James (Kathy) Turner; 2 Brothers- Jimmy (Beth) McCary, Reggie (Fae) McCary; 2 Sisters- Jean (Rudolph) Enlow, Patricia (Joe) Rodgers; 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandson, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a Grandson Nolan Ford. The family would like to express sincere gratitude for the excellent care provided by National Healthcare and Caris Hospice. The family is at the home on Pram Court in North Augusta and will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
