Ronald T. Bartholomew, husband of fifty-eight years to the late Barbara Bartholomew, entered into rest at his residence surrounded by his loved ones on September 10, 2025.

Ronald was born in Chester, Pennsylvania on September 11, 1946 (78) as the son of the late Catherine and Theodore Bartholomew. Ronald spent sixty years in Federal Service. As a Sergeant First Class he was a proud member of the U.S. Army having served fifteen years. Ronald was retired from the U.S. Department of Energy as the Director, Office of Safeguards, Security, and Emergency Services. He enjoyed playing golf, and spending time at the beach with his family.

Ronald is survived by his daughters Christy Jackson (Johnny), Rebecca Riley (Neal), Stacey Smith (Kevin), five grandchildren Haley Jackson, Cody Jackson, Alex Riley, Anslee Riley, Greyson Smith and one sister Andrea Barr.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC 29824.
