Rickie Wayne Holley, 70, of Plum branch, husband of Janet Barton Holley entered into rest on September 26, 2022.

Rickie was born in Aiken, SC as the son of Lugenia Lowe Holley and Pierce H. Holley, Jr. He retired from S.C.D.O.T. in Aiken, SC. Rickie served as a Fire Chief for Clearwater Fire Dept and was a firefighter for surrounding cities of Bath, Clearwater and Langley.

Rickie is survived by his wife Janet of 48 amazing years of marriage together , two daughters Nancy (Bryan) Griswold, Rebecca Holley, five grandchildren David (Kinsey) Roberson, Cpl. William Griswold USMC, Madison and Walker Griswold, Hayley White, one great-grand daughter Avonelle Roberson, one sister Glenda (Tony) Waller, one brother Larry (Rosemary) Holley. Predeceased by one sister Sandra Holley.

Service will be held at 2:30pm Monday, October 3, 2022, at Gilgal Baptist Church, Gilgal rd. Edgefield, SC 29824. The family will be receiving friends from 1:30pm-2:30pm before the service at the church. Active pallbearers will include: Walker Griswold, David Roberson, Hayley White, Madison Griswold, Henry Carlin, Shannon Ryals. Honorary pallbearers will include: Hite Bartley, David Smith, Larry Nicholson, Daniel Bartley, Daniel Baker, John Fellows, Pee Wee Padgett, Johnny Kitchings, George Padgett.
