Peggy Edmunds White, wife of Jerry White of Plum Branch, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 25, 2021 after a long battle with Cancer. Graveside services will be at Overbrook Cemetery in McCormick, SC on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 2 PM with the Pastor John Alexander Officiating. Due to COVID-19 social distancing will be observed and facial masks requested. Mrs. Peggy was the youngest daughter of Charlie and the late Joan Holiday Edmunds. Peggy was recently retired from McCormick County after 28 years of service with her last position being Finance Director. Survivors include her husband, two children, Jeremy Trammell (Raegan Helsel) and Charley Ann (Kevin) Ashley; three grandchildren, Jasper Ashley, Joy Miller, and Liam Miller; two sisters, Teresa (Robert) Ashmore, and Deborah (Ricky) Banks, as well countless nieces, and nephews whom she loved very much. She was predeceased by her mother, older sister Joan Edmunds Cunningham and a stepdaughter, Dedy White Miller. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice House of Greenwood, 408 W.
