Patsy Wicker Crouch, 88, of Johnston, wife for 61 years to the late L.S. (Fate) Crouch entered into rest on August 14, 2022.
Patsy was born in Newberry, SC as the daughter of the late Ruth Dominick Wicker and Laurence David Wicker. She was a member of Johnston Presbyterian Church for 60+ years where she taught Sunday school, was a Deacon & Secretary and in the Woman of the Church. She ran Crouch Realty/investments for 45 years while helping many people buy a home and providing much needed rental properties in the area. Patsy was the founder of The Ridge Board of realtors. She founded & organized The Released Time Christian Education in Johnston and Richmond County public school system. She was the first woman in South Carolina to run for the S.C. House of Representatives.
Patsy is survived by her three children, Stanley W. Crouch, Laura (Tommy) Pearson, Debra (Chris) Aston, sister Jean (Charles) Simmons, four grandchildren David Shuster, Schump Aston, KatiDee Juhasz and Aubrey Aston, five great-grandchildren Seth, Roman, Bladeon and Dominick Shuster, Sophie Grace Juhasz. She is preceded in death by her husband, brothers Ray and David Wicker and his wife Chris.

Service will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Johnston Presbyterian Church, 700 Mims St. Johnston, SC 29832. Family will receive friends at the church from 10-11am before the service.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Mercantile Funeral Home Johnston Chapel.
