Patricia Ann Turner Long passed away on 10 December 2024 after a short illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.

A native of Edgefield, SC, Ann was born 16 March 1943, the only child of the late Lonnie A. Turner and Mary M. Turner. Following high school Ann attended Anderson Jr. College and Campbell Univ., studying Elementary Education. At Campbell she met her husband of sixty years, Colonel George E. Long of Charlotte, NC, who survives her. Ann was a valued equal partner and gifted contributor to the successful twenty-seven-year Air Force career shared with her husband. She and George retired to Colorado Springs and Woodland Park, CO, living there for thirty years.

She is also survived by sons David and Peter and daughter Caroline. She also treasured two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Ann's family will celebrate the life of this wonderful woman on her birthdate in a private gathering.
