Retired Textile Worker Mrs. Pansy Wood Turner, born in the Antioch Section of Edgefield on July 28, 1922, passed away on Saturday August 4, 2012. Mrs. Turner was the daughter of the late John W. and Maggie Wood and she was a retired textile worker. She was a member of the Edgefield First Baptist Church. Survivors include her children- Tannue T. (Lionel) Owen and William A. (Barbara) Turner, Sr., both of Edgefield; 1 Sister- Georgia W. Lamb, Aiken, 5 Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren. She was was predeceased by her husband Elzie L. Turner, Sr. and a son Elzie L. Turner, Jr. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
