Homemaker Mrs. Orene Byrd Strom, 92, of Strom Lane, wife of the late James Ned Strom, died Wednesday August 28, 2013 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 31, 2013 at 3 P.M. at Berea Baptist Church with burial in Gilgal Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Strom was a native of Edgefield, S.C. and was a member of Berea Baptist Church. She was a former employee of Forestview Manor and a Bible Teacher all of her life. Survivors include 3 Sons- Charles (Gladys) Brown, Daune (Julie) Brown, Barry (Tammie) Brown; 1 Sister- Juanita Bartley; 1 Brother- Harry E. Byrd; 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
