Nancy Reel Gilliam, 72, of Edgefield, SC, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2025.

Born and raised in Edgefield, Nancy was the daughter of the late Elizabeth "Beth" and James "Jimmie" Reel. She dedicated much of her life to serving others, working as a social worker at Edgefield County Hospital before retiring. She also shared her creativity and love of community as the former owner of Edgefield Floral. Nancy was a longtime member of Edgefield First Baptist Church.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Whitney Lord (Russell); her son, Jay Gilliam (Shelby); and her grandchildren: Reece Graybeal, William Graybeal, Sarah Lord, Whit Gilliam, and Sadie Bates Gilliam. She is also survived by her sister, Sara Howell (Al), and her brother, Tod Reel (Allen).

In accordance with Nancy's wishes, no formal services will be held. The family asks for your thoughts and prayers during this time. Memorial contributions may be made to Edgefield First Baptist Church in her honor.
