Mildred McKie Morgan, 89, of Edgefield, SC, wife of the late Thomas "Tommy" L. Morgan was called to join the church triumphant on Sunday, April 19, 2020. Due to the current COVID-19 health concerns a private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name can be given to Edgefield First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 624 Edgefield, S.C. 29824 of which she was a long-time member. Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of Eugenia and Robert H. McKie, and is survived by her children, Robert L. (Larry) Morgan (wife Debbie), Jane M. Pence (husband Bob), and Daniel McKie (Mack) Morgan (wife Bridgette), 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her brother, Robert (Bob) H. McKie, Jr. (wife Pat), and her sister-in-law Lugenia Ray, Gadson, AL. Mrs. Morgan was a loving wife and mother. She was a retired schoolteacher, served on the Edgefield Hospital Auxiliary and taught Sunday School at Edgefield First Baptist Church for many years. The family would like to thank all her friends that checked on her, the staff at Forest View Manor for their thoughtful care, and the staff of Edgefield County Hospital for her care at her passing.
