Retired Bank Teller Mrs. Mary Bell Scurry, widow of Ralph M. Scurry, peacefully passed on to her heavenly home Friday October 16, 2015. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday October 20, 2015 at 11 A.M. at Eastview Cemetery in Edgefield. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Scurry was born July 19, 1923 in Callison, S.C., daughter of George Dorn Bell and Josie Rush Bell. She was a retired Bank Teller and a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church. Affectionately known as "Monk" to her early friends and "Gram" to her family she is survived by 2 sons- John Bell Scurry, and Ralph (Nancy) Scurry, Jr.; 5 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren.
