Mary Louise Hammond Edgefield, SC Mary Louise Dorn Hammond, 96, of Garrett Road, wife of the late Billy Hammond, died Tuesday November 29, 2016. Graveside Services will be held Thursday December 1, 2016 at 3 PM at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hammond was born in Edgefield County. She was a retired school teacher, and a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church where she was the pianist and organist for 63 years. Survivors include 3 sons; Fred (Michelle) Hammond, Marvin (Jean) Hammond, and Ted (Ginny) Hammond; 8 grandchildren; Marc Hammond, Bill Hammond, Cody Hammond, Brandi Beasley, Brooke Duncan, Dayle Hammond, Michael Hammond, and Emily Alsdorf; and 8 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Tony Hammond. The family will receive friends Wednesday November 30, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
