Mary "Bonnie" Lester Clegg, 81 of Plum Branch entered into rest on January 4, 2025.

Mary was born in Oglethorpe County, Georgia as the daughter of the late Mary Frances and Alvin Lester. Mary was a retired textile worker and was of the Baptist faith.

Mary is survived by her six children Tony Clegg, Randy Clegg, Joyce Lamb (Stan), Wanda Rhodes (Robert), Curtis Clegg (Karen), Donnie Clegg (Brittany), two brothers Howard and Larry Lester. Mary was blessed to have fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband Vernon Curtis "Mook" Clegg Sr. and her grandson Jonathan Clegg.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Monday, January 6, 2025, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC. A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Plum Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 106 Church St. Plum Branch, SC 29845. The family will be at the home of Curtis and Karen Clegg in McCormick, SC.
