Martha Bledsoe Jester, 75 of Edgefield, SC entered into rest on January 15, 2025.

Martha was born in Edgefield as the daughter of the late Rosa and William Bledsoe. She was a member of Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church and a loving homemaker for her family.

Martha is survived by her daughter Michelle Herring (Mitchell), son James Jester (Jillian), two sisters Barbara Langley and Ruth Satcher, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is predeceased by her sister JoAnne Garner, four brothers Richard and Bill Bledsoe, James and Allen Devore.

The family of Martha will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC. A chapel service will be held at the funeral home at 2:00pm following the receiving of friends. The burial will be held at Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
