Homemaker Mrs. Margaret E. Hamlet Matthews, 79, of Cedar Road, wife of Bobby Matthews, Sr.for 62 years, died Friday February 15, 2013 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Monday February 18, 2013 at 11 A.M. at Parksville Baptist Church with burial at 2 P.M. in Aiken Memorial Park. Mrs. Matthews was the daughter of the late Ben H. and Ollie Permenter Hamlet and was born in Chatham County, N.C. She was a Homemaker and a member of Parksville Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, 2 Sons- Bobby (Sandra) Matthews, Jr., Steven Hall Matthews; 1 Brother- Ben Hamlet; Grandchildren- Beth (Aaron) Dowdy, Melissa Jones, Jason (Liz) Matthews, Morgan Matthews; Great-Grandchildren- Melanie (Douglas) Flores, Brandon Dowdy, Brian Dowdy, Preston Jones, Manning Jones, Samuel Jones, Caroline Matthews, Genevieve Matthews.
