Lucille Johns Stokes, 88, wife of the late Melvin Stokes, died Sunday December 13, 2015. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday December 16, 2015 at 11 AM at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery in Edgefield, S.C. The family will receive friends after the service at the cemetery. Mrs. Stokes was a native of Allendale County S.C., and was a retired bookkeeper. She was a member of Rocky Creek Baptist Church where she was the pianist for 40 years and was a member of the Women's Missionary Union. Survivors include 2 sons, James Leonard (Cherry) Stokes, John M. (Harveen) Stokes; 2 grandsons, Christopher (Lisa) Stokes, Kevin (Farah) Stokes; 3 great grandchildren, Chandler, Landon, and Ellory Stokes; 2 brothers, Grady (Buddy) Johns, Ellis (E.P.)
