Mrs. Lucille O. Padgett, wife of the late George Price Padgett of Johnston, SC passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at Edgefield Post Acute.

Lucille was born as the daughter of Joseph Earle Ouzts, Sr. and Viola Fox Ouzts of Edgefield. Mrs. Padgett worked for many years at Riegel Textile and later retired as a teacher's aide for Edgefield County Schools. She was a lifelong member of Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Tony (Mandy) Padgett of Aiken, a grandson Adam Tyler Padgett and a sister Mary Korreck (Tom) Edgefield. She was preceded in death by her five sisters and two brothers that she loved dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 16th 2024 at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery of Johnston, SC with Pastor David Lyda officiating. The family request that memorials be made to Little Stevens Creek Baptist Church c/o Deborah Logue 1126 Hwy. 378 East, Edgefield, SC 29824.
