Louise Costner Edwards, 91 wife of James Luther Edwards of Edgefield, SC entered into rest on July 20, 2025.

Louise was born in Edgefield, SC and was the daughter of the late Doctor Acie Costner and Zuelene Hastings Costner. She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church and was the retired owner of The Peddlers Market Antiques.

Louise is survived by her husband, two children, Charles Lewis Edwards and Myra Taylor (Kenneth); three grandchildren, Benjamin James Clark (Nicole), Hart Costner Clark, and Richard Anthony Solis (Genna); three great grandchildren; and one great-great grandson. She was predeceased by a great granddaughter Taylor Marie Johnson.

Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 820 Mt. Carmel Rd., Troy, SC 29848, with burial in church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am before the service at the church.
