Mrs. Katherine Whayne Maxwell, 88, of Edgefield, died September 1, 2011 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab. Funeral Services will be held Sunday September 4, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Edgefield United Methodist Church with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Edgefield. Mrs. Maxwell was a native of England, Ark. And was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter Elizabeth Maxwell Ghee, Monticello, Ga.; 4 Grandchildren- Kim Greene, Windsor, S.C., David Felder, Lithonia, Ga., Denise Worley, Franklin Springs, Ga., James Felder, Monticello, Ga.; 6 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great- Grandson. She is survived by a special dog Gracie. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Mr. James H. Maxwell and her great- grandson Jantzen Bradley.
