"Boots" Havird, 91, wife of the late David Havird, died, Sunday August 21, 2016 at Hammond House. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday August 24, 2016 at 11 AM at Edgefield First Baptist Church with burial in Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Mrs. Havird was a native of Edgefield County and was retired from Fort Gordon. She was a member of Edgefield First Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 sons; James Michael (Dianne) Havird; and William David "Billy" (Shauna) Havird; 6 grandchildren; Monroe (Ashley) Havird, Ben, John, Tyler, David, and Patrick Havird.
