Joseph L. Welch, 61 of Edgefield, S.C. husband of Penny Wood Welch entered into rest on July 3, 2024.

Joseph, known by his friends as "Joe Blade" was born in Augusta, Georgia as the son of the late Billy and Janice Welch. Joseph worked in construction as an ironworker and welder.

Joseph is survived by his wife Penny, son Alex Welch, two sisters Cindy Bass and Rhonda McBurney.
