Forestry Commission Mr. Joseph S. "Joe" Prince, 47, of Gold Mine Rd., died Tuesday May 22, 2012 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Friday May 25, 2012 at 3 P.M. at McKendree United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Mr. Prince was born in Augusta, Ga. and was a member of McKendree United Methodist Church. He was retired from the S.C. Forestry Commission. He was the Asst. Chief and a charter member of the Northside Fire Dept. Survivors include his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Agner Prince; his parents- Edgar "Nuddy" and Margie Timmerman Prince; 1 daughter- Reanna Jo Prince; 1 Son- Talton Lewis Prince, 1 Brother- Edgar Way (Robin) Prince and their son Tommie Prince. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Northside Fire Dept. Memorials may be made to the Northside Fire Dept., 719 Hwy 378 East, Edgefield, S.C. 29824.
