Mr. John Thomas Fries, 88, of Coventry Circle, North Augusta, husband of Anna Carolyn Taylor Fries, died Sunday May 3, 2015 at ( NHC) National Health Care. A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday May 7, 2015 at 11 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edgefield with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Fries was a native of Parkersburg, West Virginia and was the son of the late John J. and Cordelia Potter Fries. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II. He was retired Manager of Physical Distribution of American Cyanimid Co. Mr. Fries was an active member of his Church and Community all of his life. Survivors include his wife, 2 sons- Ted (Jane) Fries, Chris (Roseann) Fries,; 3 Daughters- Carolyn (Hal) Torgesen, Virginia (Don) Pitts, Jane Pitts; 1 Brother- Bill (Sylvia) Fries; 12 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren. He was predeceased by a Brother Ben Fries and a Sister Jo Ann Bonatucci.
