John Curran Feltham III, a dedicated and accomplished retired engineer, passed away on April 11, 2026, in Edgefield, South Carolina. Born on May 16, 1953, in Columbia, South Carolina, Mr. Feltham lived a life marked by service, commitment, and professional excellence.

 A proud veteran, Mr. Feltham honorably served in the United States Navy, demonstrating a dedication to his country. After his military service, he pursued higher education with distinction, graduating from both the University of Louisville and Auburn University. His academic achievements laid a strong foundation for his career in engineering, where he built a reputation for skill and integrity.

 John Curran Feltham III is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn Feltham, who stood by him through the many chapters of his life. He was a cherished son to Helen White Feltham and the loving father of five children: Ashley McKinney, Elizabeth Chapman, Andrea Howell, Brittany Bevan, and Shane Smith. His legacy also includes eleven grandchildren who brought immense joy and pride to his later years. He was fortunate to have the support and companionship of his three sisters, Dianne Feltham, Mary Grace Feltham, and Julie Feltham.

 He was preceded in death by his father, John Curran Feltham Jr., whose memory he honored throughout his life.

 A memorial service to celebrate the life of John Curran Feltham III will be held on April 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Edgefield Methodist Church, located at 309 Norris Street, Edgefield, SC 29824. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather and receive visitors at the fellowship hall.

 John Curran Feltham III’s life was marked by a steadfast commitment to his family, his profession, and his community.
