Joann McGee Gillian, 76, wife of James M. "Frog" Gillian, of Weaver Rd. entered into rest Sunday December 31, 2017 at University Hospital. Services will be held Wednesday January 3, 2018 at 2 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. The family will receive friends after the service at the Funeral Home. Mrs. Gillian was the daughter of the late John Louis and Alice Bussey McGee. She was a retired Textile Worker. Survivors include her husband; 2 sons, Monroe (Lisa) Turner, and James P. Gillian; 3 daughters, Beverly (Randy) Bryan, Sheila Hall, and Patricia A. Gillian; 2 sisters, Louise Fulmer, and Virginia Blackston; 9 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 2 grandchildren Fred Mack Bryan, and Amanda Turner. Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Rd., Greenville, SC 29605.
