Padgett Edgefield, SC Owner of Reel Insurance Agency James E. (Jimmy) Padgett, 68 of Fairway Dr., husband of Ellen Miller Padgett, died Thursday January 16, 2014 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday January 18, 2014 at 2 P.M. at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park in Edgefield. Mr. Padgett was a native of Edgefield, SC and was the son of Margaret Huff Padgett and the late Robert Ed Padgett, Sr. He was the owner of Reel Insurance Agency in Edgefield, SC. Survivors include his wife, his mother, one son J. Tim (Alicia) Padgett, on daughter, Jennifer Sumner, one sister Janice (Payne) Whatley, one brother Robert E. (Mozelle) Padgett, Jr.; five grandchildren, Brooke, Megan, and Will Padgett; Maggie and Padgett Sumner. The family is at the home and will receive friends Friday from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
