James Howard Arthurs, 60 husband of Janet K. Arthurs of Edgefield, SC entered into rest on August 20, 2025.

James also known as "Big Howard" was born in Aiken, SC as the son of the late Marie and Carl Arthurs. James was a retired truck driver and a member of Graniteville Community Church.

James is survived by his loving wife Janet, children Erica Baynham (Ben), Howard Arthurs (Nicole), Eric Arthurs, Amber Elgin, Lindsey Elgin (Dylan.) One brother Mike Arthurs (Trish), seven grandchildren Shelby, Jimmie, Haley, Raelynn, Hanna, Noah and Charlee.

The family will be holding a celebration of life at 11:00am, September 13, 2025, at Graniteville Community Church of God, 208 Bettis Academy Rd.
