Helen Lorene Berry, 88, went to be with her Lord on Saturday September 2, 2017. Miss Berry was born in Greenwood County and was a life-time resident of her beloved Edgefield, SC. She was a retired Textile Worker. The love she had for her family will be greatly missed. Survivors include; 1 sister, Miriam Stinchcomb; 1 sister-in-law, Lucy Berry; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Alice Berry, and 2 brothers, Cecil and Marcel Berry. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 2 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home with burial in Eastview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM before the service at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the staff at The Ridge Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Edgefield, SC.
