Grace Culpepper Crowder passed away in North Augusta, SC on October 12, 2026, at the age of 98. She was born on May 5, 1928, in Poplarville, Mississippi, and lived a long life marked by devotion to her family and the steady, caring spirit of a loving homemaker.

 Grace will be remembered for the warmth she brought to her home and for the quiet strength that so often becomes the heart of a family. Her life was one of care, love, and presence, and those who knew her will remember the comfort and constancy she gave so freely.

 She is survived by her daughter, Judy Byrd; her sons, Danny Crowder and his wife, Geenie, Ron Crowder and his wife, Stephanie; her brothers, Richard Culpepper and Cary Culpepper; and her sister, Sherry Lyle. Memories are being carried forward in the hearts of her five grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. 

 She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Lowe, and by her parents, Minnie and Daniel Culpepper.

 A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church, 174 Red Oak Grove Road, Modoc, South Carolina 29838.

 Grace Culpepper Crowder will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
