Georgia Helen Rosenlieb, 102, of North Augusta, South Carolina, formerly of Clay City, Illinois, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023 at Hammond Place in North Augusta.

Georgia was born on May 3, 1921 in Clay City, IL. The daughter of Harry and Clara Belle (Thomas) Scrugham. She married Paul V. Rosenlieb on August 17, 1941 at the Clay City Methodist Church. Paul preceded her in death on January 13, 1988.

Helen enjoyed many things in her life some including playing cards, keeping a daily diary, crossword puzzles, decorating her home, shopping, cooking, quilting and dancing. She loved her church and was a member of the Clay City United Methodist Church. She also loved all her friends and family.

Georgia is survived by her son, Dick Rosenlieb and wife Linda and her granddaughter, Lindsey Rosenlieb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the Kistler-Patterson Funeral Home in Clay City, with a visitation beginning one hour before service time at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at the Clay City Cemetery.
