George Ed Hill was born in San Angelo, Texas November 4th, 1938, to Wes and Estelle Hill of Sonora, Texas. He left this Earth on April 12th, 2024, at 12:09am.

He is survived by his two daughters, Amy and Lucy Hill, and his most precious, treasured granddaughter Emily Burrell. He was predeceased by his wife of 52 years, Gloria Warren Hill, and his younger brother, Joe Wes Hill.

George retired from SRS where he was the Senior construction field manager at DWPF. He was generous and kind-hearted and never met a stranger. Always wanting to tell everyone entertaining anecdotes, he spread joy and shared whatever he had. He was larger than life and his absence will be felt by so many.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at Harmony United Methodist Church Heritage Hall. A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm at the church.
