George T. Faulkner, 82 husband of Dorothy A. Faulkner (Dot) of Modoc, SC entered into rest on April 10, 2025.

George was born in McCormick, SC and raised in Modoc, SC. He was a member of Red Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He spent all of his time doing anything outdoors after retiring. He was always found on his tractor in the fields, working his garden, tending to his goats and chickens, swinging on the front porch or on a pond somewhere fishing. He loved any kind of hunting but hearing his beagles run a rabbit was always his favorite.

George is survived by Dot his loving wife, son Richard F. Faulkner, daughters Lisa A. Howard and Amanda C. Faulkner, sister Jessie Lewis, 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents, Richard and Sue Faulkner, sister Thelma Miller, brother-in-law Billy Lewis, niece Vickie McDonald and nephew Dale Lewis.

The family will receive friends at home. Memorials can be made to Red Oak Grove Baptist Church, 96 Bussey Road  Modoc, SC 29838.

A service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
