Edward Agner, Sr. Edgefield, SC George Edward Agner, Sr., 82, husband of Lillie Mae Riley Agner, died Friday August 19, 2016. Funeral Services will be held Monday August 22, 2016 at 2 PM at Red Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery. Mr. Agner was born in Edgefield County and was a member of Red Hill Baptist Church. He was a retired S.C. Fire Warden and a Farmer. Survivors include his wife; 1 daughter; Rebecca Ann "Becky" Prince; 1 son; George Edward "Eddie" (Karen) Agner, Jr.; 1 brother; James M. ( Shirley) Agner; 4 grandchildren ; Reanna Jo, and Talton Lewis Prince, Sara Alice, and George Edward Agner, III. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Joe Prince. The family is at the home and will receive friends Sunday August 21, 2016 from 5 to 7 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
