Leischner, Sr. Edgefield, SC Frank William Leischner, Sr., 71, of Addison St., died Friday, August 28, 2015 at Edgefield County Hospital. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 1, 2015 at 6 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 PM at the Funeral Home before the Service. Interment will be private. Mr. Leischner, Sr. was born in Davenport, Iowa and was Retired from the US Army having served in the Vietnam war. He was a former police officer with the Edgefield Police Department. Survivors are 2 sons Frank (April) Leischner, Jr. and Travis Leischner; 1 daughter Nikki (Ron) Burden; 7 grandchildren; 2 brothers Rosco Leischner and Leo Leischner; 9 sisters Verna Rowlett, Barbara Gutierrez, Cindy Eslinger, Donna McCoy, Mary Hewitt, Linda Birch, Patty Leischner, Lori Hanner, Beverly Eslinger.
