Frank Bettis Hammond, 84, of Edgefield, SC husband of Jean Wilson Hammond entered into rest on December 2, 2023.

Frank was born in Augusta, Georgia as the son of the late Vina Smith Hammond and Bob Lee "Coonie" Hammond. Frank was a retired self-employed electrical contractor and a member of Red Hill Baptist Church.

Frank is survived by his son Brad Hammond (Paige), grandchildren Garret and Emily, brother Ret. Col. Bobby Hammond, sisters Myrtle H. Anderson and June H. McKinnon.

A visitation will be held from 5:00pm-7:00pm, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, 801 Columbia Rd. Edgefield, SC. Services will be held at 11:00am, Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Red Hill Baptist Church, 598 Red Hill Rd. Edgefield, SC 29824.
