Essie Addie Eubanks Robertson, 95 wife of 65 years to the late Wallace "Bud" Robertson of Edgefield, SC entered into rest on May 14, 2024.

Essie was born in Edgefield County in a little cabin on May 16, 1928, as the daughter of the late Lula Calliham Eubanks and John Burkhalter Eubanks. She was a loving homemaker and had many areas of her church that kept her busy, including being a preschool teacher, Sunday school teacher, WMU leader, prayer chairman, GA leader, prayer warrior, missions, choir member and served on the state and associational WMU leadership team. She was also a member of the American legion auxiliary - Hezzie Griffis Unit # 30. Essie was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Essie is survived by her daughter Beth R. Clark (Van), grandchildren Greg Robertson (Caro), Carole Collum (Clint), Tracy Grandy (Paul), Robbie Hanna (Chris), great grandchildren David Robertson, Evan Collum, Claire Collum, Nolan Grandy, Carter Durham and Sloan Hanna. Predeceased by her son Bruce Robertson.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Monday, May 27th, 2024, at Antioch Baptist Church, 1843 Hwy 23 west Edgefield, SC 29824. The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
