Funeral Services will be held Tuesday June 17, 2014 at 2 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Trenton, SC. Burial will follow in Ebenezer cemetery. Ms. McCord was a native of Warren County Ga., she was retired Regional Director of GLEAMS Community Action Program, and she was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 Daughter Nina M. Parker, North Augusta, 2 Sons James W. "Jim" (Bertha) McCord, Trenton; Charlie W. (Debby) McCord, Thompson, Ga.; 1 sister Lou Bailey, Macon, Ga.; 7 grandchildren, Brent Parker, Beth P. Seigler, Janet Anderson, Wesley McCord, Ricky McCord, Kristi Hobbs, Craig Chapman 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by 1 granddaughter Lynn Byars, 1sister Madeline McCord and 1 brother C. T. Bradshaw. Pallbearers will be grandsons. The family is at the home of Jim McCord in Trenton and will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home.
