Elizabeth Hart Argo, 72, of Stonehenge Circle, Edgefield, SC wife of Richard "Rick" A. Argo entered into rest on Saturday, January 9, 2021. A Graveside Service will be held at 1 PM Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Sunset Gardens Memorial Cemetery, 1305 Columbia Rd., Johnston, SC. Due to COVID-19 social distancing will be observed and facial masks requested. Mrs. Argo was born in Whitmire, SC and was the daughter of the late Blair and Dorothy Duckett Rankin. She was a retired School Teacher of 35 years and after retirement she worked at the Edgefield Library part-time. She was a member of Johnston United Methodist Church. The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of Carlyle Nursing Home and to the retired Teachers of JET Middle School. Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Rankin (Cliff) Williamson; one grandson, Crosby M. Williamson; two sisters, Phylliss Raines, and Reid Palmer; two brothers, Cheeney Rankin, and Ray Rankin. She was predeceased by a son Matthew.
